CC and Crew
A brief history on CC and Crew: After breaking my back and having no band and no offers, I was in a local bar, socializing and not even thinking about another band at that time. I was approached, through a friend at the bar, by Carolyn Coletti and TJ Jablonski. They were having drummer problems with their band. They asked if I was interested, and of course, since I had no work at that moment, I agreed to do a session with them. All of us agreed on the situation at hand, and the next thing you know, I was off working again. CC and Crew were and still are a great cover band. I am happy to have worked with such talent. Carolyn went on to work with Meatloaf, no, not a new recipe, the man himself. This demo was engineered by Scott Metaxis, Prophet, Nuclear Assault, and The Edgar Casey Band. I played Roland V drums, and was not happy about it. The tracks were done in one take each. Thank goodness for that. The V drums are great from an engineer’s perspective, one line out of the kit, one line into the desk. However, for a drummer, there is nothing like a real drum. Enjoy the tracks, and always remember that less is more, sometimes. There are other tracks on the site, The Farmers daughter original tracks, that demonstrate going over the edge a bit. Good tracks, however, maybe just a tad of over playing if you know what I mean……………Peace……..Jeff!
