Street Jam Covers

Remedy    Zeppelin Medley

This derivative of the Farmers Daughter was actually at the very beginning of the group. We knew we were on to bigger and better things, and had to come up with an alias name for the group. We called ourselves Street Jam. It was best to come up with an alias, as to not ruin the Farmers Daughter name, especially if we sucked. (Only kidding) The band consisted of Althea Rose on Guitar and vocals, Steve Love on Bass, and Jeff Pallay on Drums, in a live format. In the studio, we all did whatever it took to put this one take, cover demo together. It was recorded at Little Apple Studios, Engineered by no other than Lenny Grasso himself. Tommy and Ralph may have had their hands in there somewhere too. They may have even tracked a bit here and there. It was a big happy family in those days. This version of the band kept us fed and the rent paid, while we recorded our own stuff. Playing OPM (other peoples' music) was good for paying the bills. Not much else. The real fun with this group, came with the writing and recording.
